Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C
  2. Place on an oven-proof tray once the oven has heated. Total cook time is 50 minutes/kg. Bake for the first 30 minutes at 200°C
  3. Reduce heat to 180°C and bake for the remaining time.
  4. Once cooked, remove from oven and allow to stand for 15-30 minutes (depending on the size) before carving.
  5. Tips for a succulent turkey: Use a thermometer and cook to a core temperature of 75°C
  6. Tips for a succulent turkey: Place the turkey on a wire rack with a little water in the baking dish below. Baste the cooking juices back over the turkey during cooking.
